Hi,
We are using the trial version of MS dynamics Marketing module and while creating the segments we are not able to see the components in the “Definition” tab like designer, flow and query.
And while figuring out if the Marketing instance isn't set up to sync the entities with the customer-insights services, I went into the Customer Insight Sync section.
But the Customer Insight Sync page is showing “loading entities” since yesterday.
HI Rose,
Did you find any solution on this issue? I have the same exact issue in my sandbox instance.
Hi, Megan!
We are encountering the same scenario in our sandbox instance. Should be file a ticket to Microsoft?
Segment entity works in production but when we copied production to sandbox instance, we encountered this error in Marketing.
Thank you,
Rose
Hi Alex,
I did some investigation and discovered that you had qualified for the 10+ C+E license version of Marketing. There is a known issue that you wouldn't see the correct Marketing app to do the install without us doing a forced sync. The team has completed this sync so you would need to re-run the First Run Experience (FRE) again. Please go to your Dynamics Admin Center, click the Applications tab, select Dynamics 365 Marketing and click the Manage button. You should see two options for Dynamics 365 Marketing, please select the 2nd one in the list - for example, in my solution the green arrow instances are valid. Please remember that the attach plan doesn't come with a portal so you will have to have a free portal for the install. If you need to make one available, you can just choose to reset the portal and the FRE will pick it up.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Megan
Hello,
We have the same issue.
https://medicinapty.crm6.dynamics.com/main.aspx
The segment will not error check and says:
The request for marketing configuration entity data returned: Error: CustomerInsightsInfo info is missing.
Please advise
Hi
Indeed, the DCI is not there. Can you go again to Dynamics Admin Center -> Applications -> D365 for marketing -> Manage so that yo re-run FRE. If this is not going to fix the DCI hub point, then you will have to file a Support case with us.
regards
Hi Catalina,
Following is the URL:
gcpowertools0.api.crm8.dynamics.com/.../msdyncrm_marketingconfigurations
I do not see any DCIEndpoint.
Please check.
Hi Aakarsh
Could be the First Run Experience has not properly created the DCI hub.
If you try the following: yourtenantname.api.crm4.dynamics.com/.../msdyncrm_marketingconfigurations do you see in msdyncrm_organization_config the DCIEndpoint?
could you provide the ORG URL ad I could check this for you.
regards
Catalina (Support Escalation engineer CRM team)
