Integration Manager - Inventory Standard Cost Updates

Hi! I am new to Integration Manager.

I am using GP 12.0 and trying to update the standard costs for hundreds of inventory.

I only need to update Standard Cost and nothing else.

How should I set up this integration?

    Carefully.

Mark the integration to update only.  use two columns in the source file:  item number and standard cost.

Run a stock status by account number for each inventory asset account number you use.

    Do the integration (Backups first)

Run a second set of stock status by account number and make GL entries to update the IV Asset accounts offset to your inventory gain loss account to bring the GL back into reconciliation.

    Thanks so much Richard!

I am running 1 item through a testing company but I am getting this message

The source could not be initialized due to the following problem:

    - Error Compiling Script 'Before Query ITEM & Std Cost' Line -5:

    Expected '('

    What should I do?

    Hi there GP Users.

My first post and it's on a 2.5 year old thread :)

I had exactly the same issue and I narrowed it down to that we were using reserved characters in the source name.

The source " ITEM & Std Cost" has an ampersand (&) in it, remove it and the integration should run.

I would suppose that there are other characters to avoid, eg. I tested "+" and it's not usable either.
