We have some users with 64 bit Outlook installed and some with 32 bit Outlook installed.
So we have the Server Type set to Exchange (required when using 64 bit Outlook). But some users (that have 32 bit Outlook installed) are upset that the "exchange" window that pops up doesn't reference the address book from Outlook (like it does when set to MAPI and it opens a regular Outlook window). If server type was set to MAPI, then a standard Outlook email opens up and you can have the "autocorrect" pull up emails from outside of your organizaion.
But it appears that when server type is set to "exchange" then an Exchange window pops up. You can search for addresses, but it only returns addresses for users in your organization.
Is there a setting in Outlook to allow the Exchange window to "see" the autocorrected (remembered) emails you have recently sent, so that users do not have to remember all emails that are not internal?
I apologize, I am NOT an expert with Outlook, but I have a fairly strong grasp of GP.
