Purchase for a Job with G/L Account

When you Purchase items or services for a Job that is posted with an G/L account (Purchase account) with Job Line Type = Billable, how do you setup the related G/L sales account that should be used when an Sales Invoices is created for the Job Planning Line?

    Does it make more sense to use an item of type service here? That way you will use the general posting setup and have a defined posing account for sales and purchase. If you don’t fancy changing that then you need two job planning lines. Budget type line for purchase for you purchase g/l and then another line of type billable for the sale

    Thanks a lot for your ansewer.

    Yes I have that as an backup plan if I cant handle it with setup in standard. Most of the purchase is currently posted directly on G/L account.

    I just can't understand how purchase with G/L account for a Job should work without any posibility of setting up a Sales Account. Manually change on the planning lines seems like a big job.

    So if I cant do any setup service items will have to be the solution as I want to limit the customarizations.
