I have at least 6 stores out of 30 that have started crashing (intermittently) during the Z out process at the end of the night. After the associate tries to Z out, the POS program will at times crash or cause the computer to freeze. Upon rebooting - they are unable to create a new Z report (because it allegedly was already created just before causing RMS POS to crash).
Furthermore, when looking in the receipt journal, the aforementioned Z report is not listed in the journals. Because of this, we cannot even go to reprint the Z report. The issue does not happen consistently.
Can somebody please please please pleaseeeee provide some insight on why this might be happening? We are using Radiant Terminals using Windows XP with Microsoft Dynamics RMS version 2.0.0116.
