Hi everyone,

Below is the business scenario for workflow.

We have two user groups, A and B, each consisting of four users. In my workflow scenario, if the amount is less than 100K, the workflow should be assigned to Group B and requires two approvals within a 3-day time limit. If no action is taken within 3 days, it should escalate to Group A.

I was able to setup condition for below 100K and assign to group B. i have added time limit to 3 days, but when i am trying to setup escalate I am not finding an option to select group.

Is there anything that I am missing.

Hey Bharat,

While this is not possible with the group, however you can add those users directly to the user option, isnt it?

Hi Bharath,

It is already mentioned that the escalation assignment does not support group assignments. Maybe you can try a workflow specific position hierarchy and set "managers" for each of the 4 users. Not sure if it works as I never tried this escalation using an hierarchy. It is just a first thought.

Hi Ramit,

Yes, the user options works, but the user group is dynamic and keeps changing. so looking for the group options.
