copy one company into a different tenant

I want to copy one company data into a different tenant (something like we had in NAV). I know about configuration packages, but this is not an option right now.

Exporting as a bacpac in azure is not an option either since source company is a Sandbox, and also I am not sure if I could restore a bacpac in a different cloud tenant.

    If the database metadate is the exact same (same tables, fields - also in extensions) you can do an export/import to datafile from the client.

    If it is not, RapidStart is your only option as far as i know.

    I am in BC Cloud (v16). Could you show me the steps to export/import to datafile From client? Thank you

    Sorry - i don't have access to a BC16 Cloud tenant, so I don't know if the functionality is available there...

    Try ALT+Q and search for Export to a datafile / Import from a datafile

    Options:

    Export to a data file

    Import from a data file

    can be used in on-prem version only (this is not for Saas/Cloud version)
