Is there any way to see what attributes an element contains/ are we able to debug liquid objects?

If you're using liquid on a web template or content snippet, you can insert the attribute you'd like to see into the DOM.
<p>{{object.attribute}}</p>
There is no real way (such as a debugger) to debug liquid code.
You can use the regular approach of using console.log or alerts.
For example:
{% if myFieldValue == "Test" %}
console.log("Field Value is Test")
{% endif %}
