We have been using test Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU10 Demo system in a Microsoft Azure VM for about 6-7 months. Over time it has slowed down and we have had to upgrade it as needed to a better setup. Currently we use a D13_v2 hard ware setup. It also has a Windows Server 2012 OS which says that it is expired but it also has been saying the for months.
The main issue we are having is every morning the VM reboots, shuts down or "kicks" off members of the team. I have been on it for 1 hour and have not seen any issues. I saw a really weird error when I was trying to turn on the VM the other day which probably had something to do with maintenance on the cloud hardware admins side (Microsoft).
The only thing I can think of is I set up a scheduled task to automatically log off when ever the server was idle for an hour. This is now deleted but the issue still continues. I also disabled the runbook to deallocate the VM as well when the VM gets shutdown.
Does anyone have any ideas about why this is happening?
