To work with TMS and calculate freights, we need to know Mileage(miles) and rate for each mile from origin to destination. this will be determined based on the customer location. So as of now we have 100 customer and for this 100 customers we need to enter Origin Zipcode and Destination Zipcode in Mileage engine and rate master (i assume we need to do this with export/import framework). My question is going forward when we get SO;s from new customer so we keep adding origin and destination Zipcode manually every time or is there any other way?
if i am not wrong whenever there is a new customer added, we need to add the zipcodes in Mileage engine, add the zipcodes in Rate master and add the hubs in Route plans. is my understanding correct or anything else should be taken care?
and also how to handle the mileage rates changing frequently?
Hopefully a big questions but i need to know is there a easy ways ?
