Check print out with error sometime

Not all the time, but when we are printing check suddenly strange codes replaced either the name, the total amount, the vendors code or all of them on the paper???  it can take week between this error appear, It can start in the middlen of the batch, we use the same printer, nothing else if open on this machine except GP

(code can be like this $oPsPAACdB) the report is the same for year.

if we reprint check with error... everything is OK ?

    What make and model of printer are you using?

    Have you tried re-installing the printer driver?

    You could try turning on and off the printer before you send the checks - this will clear out the printer memory.

    You could also try renaming your reports dictionary (back it up first!!) - and then open a new reports dictionary and import the modified reports (It is possible that the problem is a corrupt reports dictionary).

    Seen this happen on network and it the print spooler had to be re-set.  Saw it on a local machine and it was that the print driver was corrupted.  Never was the report dictionary.  Usually has to do with the printers.
