Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

System Date does Not change unless GP is closed and Reopened again

Dear 

On the Server, we need to keep GP open 24/7 since Integration Manager is running a automatic job all the time , .the issue is everyday at midnight, GP date doesn't change unless you close and reopen GP  

or go in and change the date manually every single day. 

is there a better way to do this ? your suggestion is mostly appreciated

    Hi AK,

    Please open the Dex.ini file from GP installation's data folder and make sure the below line is present in it.

    AutoDisplayUpdate=TRUE

    Please refer the Dex.ini settings file and make sure the mentioned date related information are configured

    AutoDisplayUpdate=TRUE is related to displaying the Process Monitor queue and not the user date.

    Do you have SuppressChangeDateDialog=True in the Dex.ini?
