Hi Community,

My user is posting a purchase order and he was prompted this. I have checked that the line item was a G/L account and there was no negative amount in the line or total balance.

Hope to get some advise.

Thank you for your reply. However, the links you suggested comes from journals that have this error.

Mine is from Purchase Invoice, not journals.

Appreciate your help though.

I think the error is occurring when you are posting payment of purchase order document from the journal. Is that correct?

I think this is the same problem, because you posted it in Purchase Invoice, and the background is also through the journal.

So please check your inivoice lines again according to the table mentioned in my post.

If both the quantity/amount in the order are positive, do you perhaps have prepayments? Maybe the prepayments have a negative amount.
