Copy Sales Order New Field Value in Return Order

Hi,

I have added a new fields in Salestable and Salesline and some of it is set mandatory. Everything works fine in creating new sales order but when a return order is created with type replacement, The system is asking for the value of the new fields I have added in sales order. My question is in which class in AOT do I have to put the code to also replicate the value of the new field I have added in the new Return Order. Thanks.

    Hi Von,

    Could you correct tags on your initial question ?

    Regarding your question the easiest way to find this out is to put break point in salesLine.insert() method and create orders from UI to get idea what triggers insert.

    You probably can start from adding code to salesLine.createReplacement() and salesTable.copyRMALines()

    I want to pass the value to both return order and replacement order.

    First of all what version are you referring to ? Current version is ax 7 so are you using it or 2012 ?

    Could you please elaborate your question, do you want to pass new fields to replacement order or to return order ?
