Segment Templates not Appearing

Hello - for D365 Marketing our Company was on version V 1.35.50580 and recently installed these updates:V 1.35.10041.2038 & V 1.35.10057.1054. When I click to create a New Segment I can see a pop-up appear to select a template, but there are no templates to select from. Also, I noticed in the Marketing > Marketing Templates area there is no area labeled "Segment templates" as suggested in the below article:

I had a different issue related to not being able to see Marketing Email Templates which was fixed by adding the Marketing Data Import entity to a security role but this did not fix the issue with Segment Templates not appearing. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

    Hi Clofy,

    It looks like the Segment Templates appear when you grant full authority to those areas in the entity. With full authority I'm not able to see the templates available in the Segments Template area.

    Hi Clofly,

    We followed the steps below and updating the privileges did not work - the Segments Template window loads, however, no templates are available to be selected. We updated the Marketing Professional - Business role with "user" level permissions to the Segment Template, updated the role with "organization" level permissions for Custom Control and updated to "user" level permissions for the Grid. Do we need to provide a higher level of privileges to any of these areas in order for the Segment Templates to appear?

    Hi Mary,

    Please try to assign necessary privileges to those entites:

    1. Segment Template. (in Custom Entities tab)

    2. Custom Control. (in Customization tab)

    3. Grid. (in Custom Entities tab)

    My test user encountered issue as in your screenshot after had been removed Read privilege to Segment Template.
