error cade when update sp12 for frx 6.7 on Win7

Hi, gurus,

We are running GP11 on Win2008r2. All clients have XP running GP, IM and FRX.

We will update all XP to Win7 (32bit). After installed FRX6.7, I run SP12 as administrator and got popup Message “error function:daddportmonitor. Error code:126”. I click “ok”; it runs continue and finish with successful massage. I try to run FRX designer, it looks fine.

Does someone get same issue? Why? Is GP server issue or Win7 issue?

Thanks

George W

    Hi George,

The error can typically be ignored.

It is referring to a problem installing the Microsoft FRx Image Writer printer driver on newer operating systems. This printer driver is actually not required by FRx unless you are planning on using the Report Manager to run Print Previews of reports.
