Hi,
Each Edt has table relations and table references node. What are those and when should I fill them?
Also what is the difference between making a relation or using Edt table relation node? How to know which one to create or use?
Hi, You cannot add new EDT Table relations in D365. (You can test it by creating new EDT)

From my understating, I think table relation has nothing to do with. But table reference is used for the reference. Suppose you are giving Table reference property for the EDT. Under Table reference node you can map the EDT to field from the reference table,
You can either create a relation manually or drag and drop the EDTs if you have reference table property set on the EDT.
