Error in posting beginning balances

I am having following error while posting beginning balance batch and error is not enough to find out the cause. Can any one tell me what is the cause.

"unable to post deduction withholding for deduction code *,department All,position All"

Hi Humayun,

This means that Payroll Posting Accounts setup is not done or incomplete.

You can see the Payroll Posting Accounts setup window @ Tools >> Setup >> Posting >> Payroll Accounts. Select 'Payroll Account Type' dropdown to 'Deduction Withholding(CR)'
