CRM 2011 - Xrm.Utility.openEntityForm doesn't open CRM email activity form from Outlook client

Hello,

I have one issue with Xrm.Utility.openEntityForm.

On a lead entity, I've a subgrid of one custom entity. When user selects one or more record(s) in that subgrid, there is one custom button in associated view and it gets enabled.

On click of that button I'm opening the CRM email activity form.

This thing working as excepted from the web browser but when users open the lead record via Outlook client, after selecting one or more records from the subgrid, hit on the button, at that time it is opening the outlook email window and not the CRM email activity form.

How to open CRM email activity from the outlook client interface?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi Bas,

    Thank you for the response.

    We've validated both the properties of entity in Solution + form properties for email activity but everything looks good to us.

    It is enabled for outlook.

    Any other pointers.

    Hi Manavvar,

    did you verify if the entityform you try to open is available for use within Outlook?

    You can verify that in the properties of the form in the CRM solution.
