Hello, that error code could be occasioned by multiple situations, I recommend you to read this documentation and follow the steps from the beginning to see if it works fine: docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-encryption-key

    I hope it helps!

    Thanks!

    Hi! Hello Esteban

Let me put you in context, I currently have a productive on-premises Dynamics 365 environment with a database stored on SQL Server 2014.

I tried to mount a backup in the production environment, everything is fine there.

When entering the graphical interface (Dynamics 365) and manipulating the information it throws me that data encryption is not activated, going to the section to activate it is when it throws me that error that I mentioned above.

If I point my CRM server application (QA environment) to the productive SQL database, I can easily activate the data encryption, why do I get this error in production?
