Inventory Voucher Shows error while posting

Hello Experts..,

Good Day

When I tried to post the inventory movement voucher it shows me an error "Account number for transaction type Error account does not exist." & "Dimension value is not active."

Kindly help me to resolve the error.

On General Ledger Setup , Financial dimension values check following fields:

1. Active from and active to are valid.

2. Suspended not activated

for dimension '75'.

Hi DEEPAKNONU,

In addition check your automatic posting accounts in GL and whether an error account is Setup.

Before doing that in your live environment I would suggest that you test this in a demo environment because the if AX wants to use the error account something might be wrong with your setup.

Thanks, Mr. Ludwig I appreciate your advice. I'm doing all the testing in Test Environment. But nothing is helping to resolve this error.

Please suggest me how can I resolve this error.

Hi,

Can you identify the line that causes the difficulty by a symbol in the log column?

If so, can you delete this single line from your journal and try to post it in a new journal?

Actually, the problem with this branch only our organization has too many branches but only this branch make the problem and only in "December" month. if I make this all entries in January 2018 then it will post correctly. I tried to make single entry and then try to post but it will give the same error.

Hi,

This seems to be a period issue then.

Can you check in GL whether December 2017 is still open for postings?

Your accountants might have already put that period on hold.
