Hi,

I have situation where account which is used in incoming profile of email router has no mailbox but full mailbox permissions are added to secondd account with mailbox. Second AD user is disabled. Is it possible to force Email rounter incomming profile to see this second mailbox? When I test access for configured in crm user I'm getting error that mailbox does not exist. Please note this is incoming profile.

So questions is if it is possible to use windows auth of UserA to connect to EWS but use different user UserB mailbox?

Is it supported at all?

Cheers,
Eric

    Hi Eric,

In the CRM setting you just use the User A email addres as primary email by setting with value of UserB email address.

Then in the email router when you try to load data of user or queue you will be able to see the user A and I think will be successful.

Is it possible to you do try that way?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I checked this config today and also I catched what's going on between email router while UserB mailbox access test. It seems Email Router take UserA login provided in Incoming profile confuig and ask EWS if it is correct exchange mailbox. Of course response is negative as in fact this user does not have mailbox. There is no further test performed (e.g. if UserA has access to mailbox of UserB based on UserB email alias in CRM) and wholel test fails.

Is there any way to point Email Router to check existence of mailbox of UserB?

    Cheers,

    Eryk
