Viewing attachment from transactions view

Hello

I have a question regarding viewing attachments in d365FO.

Is there no easy way to view attachments added to a voucher directly from the transactions view?

When we go to the the transactions view on a account and want to view an attachment/documentation for a voucher, it takes several steps to get there. On the selected voucher we need to click on:

original document -> view details -> Lines -> and then when we finally arrive at the general journal view, we have to find the exact line, where the document has been attched.

Is there an easier way to get to the document without having to do so many "clicks"?

Thanks

/Mai-Britt

Hi, We use to have Feature in Ax 2012 to view attachment directly from Transaction as mentioned in below article. It seems to be deprecated in D365FO.

    Hi Girish

    Thanks for the answer.

Do you know if Microsoft has such a form in the pipeline to make the navigation to the document more user friendly?

    Hi Mai,

There is no standard consolidated form to show all the document attachment. But you can see under document history under System administration >> Inquiries >> Document history. But you won't have option to view the attached files.

You need to create a separate customized form to view all the attachments.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
