MS Outlook 2013 and exporting report in RMS Manager by email / html

Hi,

It was possible to export a report from RMS Manager and send it by html in an email. Now it is not working with Outlook 2013 and RMS 2.0 When I go to export a report in RMS and send it by email  / html it gives me an error saying "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run MS Outlook and ...."

Outlook 2013 is the default mail client and still it is not working.

Anyone came across this issue when exporting reports in RMS to Email / html ??

    You have to have both UAC turned off  AND use a 32bit version of Office because RMS is 32bit

    RMS cant talk to the 64bit version of office because the integration was created differently.   You can still use a 64bit version of Windows.

    It seems as though windows wont allow us to set Outlook as the default mail client.  We click on the bullet to change the setting, hit OK  and we still get an export failed.

    If I go back into look at the default mail client setting, they have reverted back to the original settings.

    Hmm UAC was already turned off.  Export still failing.  Any other suggestions?

    Hi Shane!

    We are having the same problem but at this stage are not going to switch to the 32-bit version of window.  Can you help us out the what you did to resolve this issue?  What is UAC and where do find that setting to turn it off?

    Hi Shane,

    The problem we had was due to using Office 2013 - 64bit. The 64bit Office suite does not work with RMS.

    So we installed the 32 bit version and it works ok.

    I have a similar problem but just get export failed. Outlook 2013 is the default email program.
