Merchant Properties Not Found For Hardware Station

Hi Members,

We're using Employee cards as payment methods. I've configured them as card payment method against the stores. 

The Employee cards do not require the use of an EFT Service which is why, we have the "EFT Service" in Hardware profile set to "None"

Still upon "Pay Card" operation, the POS asks for Merchant Properties. If the EFT service is set to NO, why is it required to have merchant properties?

Please help in the regard. The properties you see here are just test entries.

    Hi Usama Bin Mazhar,

    For version 10.0.6 and above, the install merchant information tool is no longer used.

    Instead, the merchant information for the hardware station is set by the POS at the time of logon or when the hardware station is made active.

    If the retail server is not available when the hardware station is subsequently made active, the last known merchant properties will be used by until the connection to the retail server is re-established.

    Hi Charolette,

    Thanks For Coming back to me.

    I'm using a dedicated hardware station. I do NOT want to use any EFT service, just the pay card option on the POS without having it integrated to any merchant.

    Could you please explain why you are  specific about using "Pay Card" operation if you don't a payment connector ? If it is just another tender with no complex process, you can configure the payment method  to Pay Check operation.

    Can you please advise how to set the merchant information on POS?
     
    We can active and pair the HW station on POS but we dont know what further steps need to do to make payment by card.
