Has anyone tried to use the report extensions installer cmdlet that comes with one of the later CUs of R2 on an older version of AX? I guess I'll just try but just wondering if anyone has any experience with it.

Right, cmdlets are PowerShell commands. I'm asking if someone has tried the Install-AXReportInstanceExtensions (which is new in CU7 or CU6) on an older version of AX 2012, say R2 CU3 or even on RTM of 2012.

    Hi Joris

    I never tried.

In the AX installations prior CU7, I used the powershell scripts provided by Codeplex.

However, I think AXReportInstanceExtensions doesn't work for instance with AX 2012 R1 because the Version of the components is different. On R1 is 6.0.0.0, in R2 i 6.2.0.0
