Email Template for Sending Free Text Invoice through Email

HI Community,

I am trying to send free text invoice as an Pdf attachment in the email.

I was able to send the email's but with blank text body. Is there any way in AX2012 where I can attach a template which has some subject and body to free text invoice being sent out.

Please suggest.

    Hi Ismail,

    This is within the standard not possible to setup. It only sends the pdf with indeed a blank body. You could consider a customization for it. It would be nicer to have some introduction in stead of only a document where you ask for money because of delivered goods/services...

    Any hints for the customization to start with. I remember in earlier versions we had a method reportsendmail in info class where we could do the customization But Ax2012 never uses that any more.

    Hi Aarun,

    There is no standard functionality available for this. I had to do some customization to make free text invoice use a template from the email templates in AX 2012.

    Hi Ismail,

    Existing reports created using Rdp Classes have Controller class, you just need to perform your customization in controller class to achieve required functionality.
