Demand based replenishment

Hi guys,

I'd like to know what is the expected behaviour when working with Replenishment templates, Demand based replenishment option.

As far as I know, the Demand based replenishment option creates a replenishment work for outbound orders that cannot be located during the work creation. That's fine.

When I have configured the process, I got a replenishment work with a pick and put. That's OK, but this is not a real process for the warehouse worker.

A real replenishment work, should have, more or less, the following steps:

  1. Demand
  2. Move down a pallet from bulk location with a forklift
  3. Pick the items needed for the SO
  4. Refill the picking locations (in this case, they are boxes that should refill the picking pallets)
  5. Move up the pallet to bulk location, if necessary

However, AX does not work this way apparently, it seems, it suggests a direct picking in the bulk locations. Am I wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards.

    Hi Miguel,

Did you get any solution for this? We have a similar requirement.  Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Hi Murali,

I don't necessarily agree with everything Miguel wrote. What's your requirement?
