Send To Recipient PDF

I am having issues printing to PDF to send statements or individual documents to customers.  I recently upgraded to Windows 7 running GP2010.  When I try to send statements via email, GP sits there spinning.  Outlook does not send statements like it used to when operating through Windows XP Pro.  GP will not even Send To Mail Recipient (PDF) after I view to screen.

I really need a resolution on this.  Had other users that I had this problem with after upgrading to Win7 and have not been able to find an answer.

    Hi Pete,

Are your running 64 bit versions of Office?  If so it won't work and you would need to install the x32 bit version of Office to interact with GP.

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks,

    Adam

    Adam,

    Here's the answer.

It seems that the problem all boils down to Windows 7 and Adobe.  You have to go into the start menu in Win7 and select Adobe Standard Version ? (whatever you’ve got).  Right click and go to PROPERTIES.  There is a tab there that says Compatibility.  “RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR:”  will be unchecked.  Check it off and select whichever Operating System you would like.

I’m not sure if you need to, but I did this for both Adobe Standard and Adobe Distiller.  It may need to be done also if only Reader is installed.
