When I  click Edit option to open SSRS report for editing purpose I see following message. Earlier these reports have been opening in visual studio 2010. I dont know how it started directing to visual studio 2013.

Can you please advise that;

  • How can i get visual studio 2013 enabled so that theses report can be edited in visual studio 2013
  • How can I get these reports open in visual studio 2010 as before.

    Hi SadiqQ

    for the first point

    Dynamics Ax 2012 R3 standard support Visual studio 2010 Sp1. If you want to install visual studio 2013 tools with Dynamics Ax 2012 R3, then you need to upgrade it to CU8.

    and for the second point, just uninstall VS 2013 or set your project to open in visual studio 2013 as default taking the compatibility in your consideration
