Visual Studio 2019 D365 Plugin Deployment Error: Deploy or Update operation Failed

I am trying to deploy a plugin via Visual Studio 2019 but it fails to deploy with only the following message:

Deploy or Update operation Failed.

The full log can be seen below.

Begining CRM Deployment at 4:27 PM

Successfully loaded registration information

Any thoughts, ideas, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I fixed this by doing the following.

Set the build location back to the default settings.

Added a reference to the correct .dll in the CrmPackage references area as shown below.

Then a cleaned the build, and re-built, then re-attempted deployment and it deployed to completion
