Hi all,

I have a problem with constrained table.

I want to constrained table InventSite, but the problem is InventSite is my primary table at security policy.

the goal is I want to restrict the lookup data from site. example, if I want to create new PO there's a site lookup, I want to restrict the site from create PO with security policy.

any suggestion?

Hi,

You can also restrict primary table in security policy.

Select "Yes" on "ConstrainedTable" property in security policy you have created. So that, the policy restricts the data values in records that are returned from the primary table.

Hi Sefa,

I already select Yes on Constrained table property in security policy. the result is same, the primary table data is not affected security policy.

any another suggestions?

Hi JoshuaRamaditya,

Check if you have removed System Adminstrator Role!

Also check you have enabled the policy.

if problem still persist check and share your query.

Hi Joshua,

You can find an example for download, so you can also compare your efforts with it.

If the policy is not working, it might be caused to the query or possibly another overlapping policy. Also check if the lookup form is actually presenting data using the InventSite as datasource or if another table name from e.g. a view is used.
