How to import connection records in D365 / dataverse?

Hi all,

Is there a supported way to import connection in D365 / dataverse? And by connection, I mean the records that make connections between two records indicating Contact A is sister of contact B, or contact A is mother of contact C.

Google hasn't given me any clues so far.

I tried creating a standard import template (via advanced settings > data management > templates for data management)

This only works is there are no duplicate names in all tables. Even if I set 'Type from' en 'Type to' as contact, during import it still finds duplicate names from leads. So it looks like there is no way to force the import to look to specific types.

Importing it via the dataverse table import is no success. Only four (nonfunctional) fields are presented to map too.

My only way to get this right is to import this via Power Automate / API / Simego data synchronisation studio or things likte that.

If there is a more standard way of importing this that the customer can do himself please let me know.

I have the same question (0)
