Security role that give access to all role expect System administrator

Hi,

I'm trying to determine the best approach to grant someone access to the entire system except for the D365 System Administrator role.

However, when I select all roles except for the System Administrator role, it appears that some of the roles negate the privileges of others.

What is the solution to this issue?

What would you like this person not to do that a System Admin can do?

You may create a role and assign all the prşvşleges in to that role. Maybe this can help.

Hi,

You can read my blog with a root cause: Security in Dynamics 365 F&O: Less is More - Dynamicspedia. You should not assign all roles at once to a user. In particular, some roles defined as external or related to the public sector will limit access to data.

Hi Community member,

As Billur said, what is sth that the sysAdmin does that you don't want this new user to do?
It's better to decide what do you want this user to do exactly, and add the required roles accordingly.
