Syncing the offline database for offline use

Hello all,

I was able to install a retail channel database locally on a point of sale to use as an offline database.  I even configured it in the Retail Channel Configuration Utility.  I also created an offline profile for the store.  Is there anything else I need to install to get AX to synch the retail channel database with the offline database.  Currently when I unplug the network cable from the computer it gives me an error: Error Number 1: The application cannot be initialized.  Do I need to install anything else?  What am I missing needing to do so this works correctly?

    Nevermind.  We disconnected from the network while it was in use.  It switched over to the offline database correctly.  We used the Retail Channel Config Utility to install and setup the database.

    Hi Ryan,

    Online to offline syncing takes some time for the first time.

    You can check tables in offline database if data is being populated or not?

    You can even check "Task Manager" of windows to see if offline syncing is completed or not by checking CPU consuming by offline service.
