Removing attachments from sent email messages in CRM

Hi

I saw a dozen questions about this topic but they all seem dated, and I cannot find a solution that works in Dynamics 365. I need to remove some email attachments manually from Emails in CRM. There is an option on the email form where I can remove an attachment but it's not working. It just does nothing when I press the Remove button. Is this because the email is in status Sent? I cannot find a way how to change the status back to draft, neither through the user interface, not even through a workflow. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Ideally I need to do this without coding.

    Thanks, yes, that was the trick. I was also looking in the wrong place when I was trying to create the workflow. Now I realised what my error was and I created the workflow correctly and it worked.

    Hi I believe you need to make Email Status to Draft mode,

    You have to create workflow on which will change the status of Email to draft then you will be able to delete the attachment. Create workflow as on demand that you can execute it from Email record.

    also once you remove the attachment you can have one more workflow which change the status back to sent. I know this is stupid solution but for small numbers of emails it can work quickly.
