    Hi Allwyn,

Check if the services are started on the AOS Server and check for error details check event logs by window + r >> type eventvwr.msc

Also you check if you are able to ping the AOS Server from the local client system, might be you need to do host entries.

    To identify the regarding services:

Please connect the AX installed server and go to services.msc and service name starts with Microsoft Dynamics AX Object Server...

Still you are facing the same error, please refer the event log suggested by Umesh Pandit.

    Hi all,

remember the really really really old 2009 installer bug if you have installed a new AOS server:

During setup a inbound firewall rule is created for the AOS server process.

But: Look at the entry (They forgot the [.exe] at the end of the path) is fixed in 2012 setups.

If this is a firewall related problem (means everything works with completely disbled firewall) please check that setting and add the missing extension.

Let me repeat my reply from your other thread, because you forgot to address it above:

If "I tried starting Services also, but still dint work" means that you can't start AOS , trying to connect to it is pointless. You have to get your AOS running first. Please look into event logs on AOS; there should be more information about why the service can't start.

    Hi Martin,

I don't have much idea regarding starting AOS service. All i could find was "Dynamics AX Object Server 5.0$01-DynamicsAx" this service. Where DynamicsAx is my AOS name. While tried to start the service it showed error message as "Windows could not start the service"

    Please Help...

For the third time: "Please look into event logs on AOS; there should be more information about why the service can't start."

If you don't know what event log is, you should have asked. Open start menu and search for "Event Viewer". Open it, go to Administrative Events and look for AX-related events at time of the failure.

    Hi Martin,

I checked event viewer. Among the latest error was "Application 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\50\Server\Common\AxSrvCfg.exe' (pid 1736) cannot be restarted - Application SID does not match Conductor SID".. I Googled it couldnt find solution....
