Extender Keys for SOP Line

I am trying to add Extender Window for Sales Lines so that it can be opened from Sales Transaction Entry Scroll Window (item lines). I used following 4 keys for Extender window

Component Sequence
Line Item Sequence
SOP Number
SOP Type Database

The problem is when I open the extender window, I get following error
Not all required fields have been entered for window XXXX

The error does not happen if I remove "Component Sequence" from the the Extender Keys. But I need to include "Component Sequence" because I don't want Extender data to be mapped to the Kit Components.

I also tried from "Sales Item Detail Entry" window and I have same problem. This is in GP 2010.
How can I solve this?

If you enter the normal item in the sales line, the component sequence value is always 0. So, this is the case for your error message from Extender.

Component Sequence values will be available in SOP line only for Kit Items.

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hi MaxB,

You can use the Extender key fields as SOPType,SOP Number, Item Number, Line Item Sequence to save additional details.

Also make sure that you have configured the option screen(Auto open check box to be checked & Open method is Line Change)

i guess if you dint configure the above option screen in Extender screen the above error occur.

The above error occurs because of Component Sequence number values is Zero for non-kit items(But, this field is mapped as a required).

Thank you all for your comments.

I decided to use following keys:

SOPType, SOP Number, Item Number, Line Item Sequence

I also confirmed that the Kit Item Number cannot be added as Component Item to itself. So two lines in the same SOP document cannot have same Item Number and same Line Item Sequence Number. So above keys should separate the kit components lines.
