Dynamics AX 365 Certification

I am a Dynamics CRM Developer who's used CRM since version 2011.  My manager has asked me to look into re-training and getting certifiedfor AX 365.  I've looked online but there seem to be no courses available to do this.  Also, I'm not exactly sure of the difference between AX 2012 and AX 365 (other than the obvious that one is cloud based).

Can anyone help?

    If you have access to Dynamics Learning Portal, you'll find an introductory course to AX development there (among many other things). If you don't have access, consider obtaining it - it may be the best possible step.

    Comparing AX 2012 with Dynamics 365 for Operations (it's not called AX 365) won't tell you much if you're not familiar with AX features. What you'll notice is that the client of AX 2012 was a Windows application, while now it runs in browser. Also, the development used to be done in the client, while now it's done in Visual Studio.
