I just started a new role as an AX consultant and I would like to learn everything from 0 to 100. I work for a supply chain management company and I would like to be as quick learner as possible! Please help.

Thank you,

Hasan

    Hi Hasan,

You can search for similar questions and answers on this forum. As quick as possible is never a good approach.

If your company has access to the E-learning portal, you can start there. Also there are classroom trainings available. Of course... there is a lot of information on internet. E.g. the documentation site, this forum and blog posts.

There is no alternate for experience and there will be a lot of thing which you will only learn from time. Every new project that you will work on will have different requirements around a process that you may have worked on during previous engagements.

    But there are few suggestions:

    a. Start with reading AX mocks.

    b. Set up a new legal entity and then configure the whole supply chain process from start to end.

    c. Document the complete process flow and then try to imitate the same on the system.

    d. Go to this community and search for different questions that people have posted here and that will also give you a good idea about what are the different questions/requirements that different businesses have.

See the answers in these threads, you can find a lot of similar entries:

They were specifically asking for development track, but it generally applies to functional track too where you need to establish a good foundation in the most frequently used modules and AX tools available, then specialize in an area that you have educational background for.
