audit adjustments

We had an internal call discussing the audit engagement and the notion of posting audit adjustments in our system. I know that from previous roles and experience on other systems we can open a period specifically for historic audit adjustments if we want to post into that period without affecting the mgmt accounting numbers (like a period 13 or something similar). Is this something that Business central has in their system so we can utilise?

    Hi, the change Log feature allows you to specify the tables and fields that you want to track, and it records the changes made to the values in those fields. However, it does not provide a specific period for historic audit adjustments like a period 13. It records the changes chronologically and allows you to filter them based on date and time.
