How to open a new window when creating an opportunity product?

Hello to all,

We have Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (8.2.14.10) (DB 8.2.14.10) on-premises.

We had implemented opportunity entity adding a simple sub-grid in order to relate opportunity with products (The relation between the two entities is 1 Opportunity -> N Opportunity Products). When we press "+", the system opens the creation form of the new opportunity product on the same tab .

Is there any way to configure opening the new opportunity product form in a pop-up window instead using the existing? 

p.s.1 In quote forms, where there is relevant implementation, the system opens by default pop-up window in creation of quote products. 

p.s.2 We can't use quick create forms because they don't support the displaying of calculated fields (Amount, Extended Amount, Final Price per Unit).

    The Opportunity field is already required in Opportunity Product.

    Hi Maria,

    Could you please check that whether the Lookup field which targeting to Opportunity entity on Opportunity Product entity has the Required Level as "Required"?

    If it is not, please update it as Required then verify the behavior.
