Hello, I have a client that uses Store Operations and when entering Journal Viewer to display receipts on some, not all, customers, there is not receipt. All transactions show no detail and in the display window it states "No Receipt to Display". Any suggestions on how to recover or enable display of receipts is appreciated.

Normally when database file grows to the limit, journal images of receipts deleted to let POS continue to work. If deleted from journal only the receipt is deleted. Not the transaction. As far as I know if this is the case to get the receipt image you need to work from an old backup that may have the receipts for the dates you are after. Check the dates of offending transactions.
This can be done with RMS Administrator query:
"select min(time) from journal" will give you the earliest date of the receipts in journal.
Yes, I see the transactions but you open them, there is no detail of receipt to view.
I had the same condition but it was because they were old transactions and deleted from journal.
Is your problem with transactions that are not deleted?
So, these are lost? Will future transactions be lost for these particular customers?
Sometime if PC hanging during print it lost commit transaction on Journal , Batch total in RMS database.
Not for all but there are many more than just one.

Hi Ramy, the Journal Receipts is checked.
From within Manager, then Customers, select a customer, then Purchase History tab. Selecting a transaction shows no detail. Show No Receipt to Display in receipt viewer.

From Database Menu --> Register --> Register List --> Receipt Printer 1 tab
