Hello All, I'm planning to complete build NAV in azure.

Please check the below image first.

Did anyone tried this setup ??

Everything is done, From webserver1 system i have entered

http://localhost:8080/BC140- its working

http://webserver1:8080/BC140 - Its working

http://10.10.10.5:8080/BC140 - Its opening the webpage, and asking for credentials but its not taking the credentials for 3 times and then after prompting IIS error page.(Webserver IP ADDRESS=10.10.10.5)

And also in webserver hosts file i redirected > 10.10.10.5  nav.dynamic.server

What might be the issue ? any suggetions ?

    Hello,

    We never got this to truly work with WebClient and Windows Authentication (  (WinClient may still work in this setup) on Azure VM's, hence our recommendation to use modern authentication like Office 365 SSO or NavUserPassword. With Office 365, you can even use MFA as an additional security measure. It is also a best practice to use a SSL cert.

    There have been a few support requests on this topic and I cannot recall that I recommended anything else then to use Modern Authentication as it was designed for this purpose.

    All those 4 machines are in workgroup, not added to domain.

    so what might be the best way navuserpassword ??

    Not tried yet, but planning to do so. Just try filling out tellgamestop Survey online and had a great time
