Show More Ribbon Buttons Before Ellipsis?

I made a few custom ribbon buttons with the Ribbon Editor.

My buttons are falling into the overflow ellipsis, but there's plenty of room to show them without forcing the user into an extra click. In the below screenshot I want "VM", "LM" etc to not fall under the ellipsis.

Is that in any way configurable?

RE: Show More Ribbon Buttons Before Ellipsis?

    Hello Scott Durow ,

I am suffering the same problem.

    In my case,

I want to show all my custom button, and hide all the system button.

I applied "Enable rule" on buttons. ( When one record is selected, show all buttons; otherwise button should hidden )

But still button goes in "Overflow" section.

I am using CRM2016, so according to you; there should 9 buttons display in one raw.

    But it is not happening.

You can find more information from following link:

I tried the way which is given in above link, but nothing happens.

Is there any way to solve that ?

Thank you, straightforward answer to this one.. if unsatisfying. I'm trying to avoid too many drop-downs.

In CRM2013 there were 5, then in CRM2015 there were 7, then there are 9 in 2016 before the overflow. There isn't any way of configuring this but you could organize your buttons into flyouts so that they use less space.

    Hope this answers your question?
