Hi Communities,
Shall we deployed unmanaged solution to production environment?
I know that unmanaged solution is intended to developing purpose( we can customize systems) and managed solution is intended to distribution purpose(since we can't customize systems). here any other points to consider while deploying solution?

Hi Dhanabal,
this is a never ending debate, so I'm just going to say that most of the implementations I worked on are using unmanaged solutions in production (other than those from the ISV-s, of course). Also, you are not quite correct saying that we can't customize systems.. it depends on how individual component's managed properties are configured in those managed solutions, but, generally, you can usually add/update fields, configure views, etc (for example.. in the new clean Dynamics organization all components are managed. You can still customize pretty much everything, though)
