I run a report in FRX that uses C$ as the currency symbol for our Canadian subsidiary. The symbol shows up correctly when I use the DrillDown Viewer, but when I export to Excel it drops the C and shows up as $. Is there something I can do to get it to export correctly? Since all of our reports export to Excel, I don't see much use in the international symbol if it won't export.

I have the same question (0)I know you can change the currency symbol in GP in Tools -> Setup -> System -> Currency window. At my company, all of our foreign currencies use the ISO code as the currency symbol (so for Canadian Dollars, the symbol would be CAD). The only issue here is that if you dump the report to excel, the report may "read" those numbers as text instead of currency or accounting.
I just checked Excel and noticed that Excel "reads" the currency symbol for Canadian Dollars as $, not C$. But the ISO code for Canadian Dollars (CAD) IS a valid currency symbol for Excel, so changing the symbol might be worth a shot.
