Two questions:
1. Where can I find info on the Project T&E part of Bus Portal? What do the screens look like?
2. Is the Business Portal SDK, as shown in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa474991.aspx, still valid? Can it be used to develop screens for the current Bussiness Portal?

    I am a new SL developer and have been tasked with creating a few screens in business portal to handle project commitments, Do you know where one can find the business portal SDK? I have been looking everywhere for it!

    Hi Cliveo,

    1. You can find out the ProjUsersGuide, TimeAndAttendanceUsersGuide user guides under the Documentation folder of Business Portal SDK to get the knowledge about Project Time and Expense.

    2. You can use the specified link as mentioned in your earlier post for the development activities. You must know the standard Asp coding and JavaScript to develop the new screen or customize the existing screen.

    If Business portal is already installed on your machine, you can go to the project menu in Business portal Home page and get an idea about the Time card entry and Expense Entry screen.

    You have to develop the new screen in web parts using Visual studio.

    Hi Perumalsamy,

    Thank you for your response! I have been looking everywhere for the actual SDK install, on the link above it states under (integration basics->installation->installing the business portal sdk) that the "BusinessPortal-Solomon-SDK.msi" will be found in the business portal installation media but that is not the case for me. I have been searching for days online looking for the actual SDK installation but cannot find it.

    HI Clive,

    Do you have the partner/customer source login? If yes, you have to login into Microsoft partner source and you can get the Business Portal SDK installation package.

    You can use the below link to download the latest version of Business Portal

    community.dynamics.com/.../an-updated-version-of-the-microsoft-dynamics-sl-2011-business-portal-that-supports-sharepoint-2013.aspx
