GP 2015 R2 Workflow email size issue

Does anyone know how to control the size of the workflow emails in GP 2015 R2?  We are using the new Payables Transaction Workflow with Doc Attach and trying to send emails.  The emails are all failing because they are too large.  We've tried sending them without the documents to see if that made a difference and it doesn't.  We do have Web Services running so that the emails contain the actions so they can approve, reject, etc right from the email.  This client is using Office 365 and has a hard limit on the size of the emails so we can't change the sizing.  Has anyone else run into this and figured out a work around?  Thanks!

Yes, we determined that the recipient had some issue, a different user could receive the email without an attachment, but boy those attachments are huge.  We are trying to get the scanner to not create such a large file.  We set doc attach to 25 mb and then the scanner won't scan the document into GP.  If I figure out anything I'll post it or if anyone has found a way around these huge jpeg files, I'd love to hear what you did.

    Hi Cindy,

I think size can't be your problem if you are still getting the error without an attachment.  In our case, the assignment email without attachment is only 8k.  You can set the maximum file size for the attachments in the setup (GP >> Tools >> Setup >> Company >> Document Attachment Setup).  By default it's 15MB.
