Showing the incorrect currency code on the Bank reconciliation summary report

In Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operation:

When I generated a Bank reconciliation, it shows the Bank currency instead of the company currency as below image:

The amount in highlighted lines are correct (CNY currency), but the currency is wrong (HKD - bank currency).

In Standard environment, I could not reproduce this issue, it only show the amount as below:

Here is the reproduce steps:

Setup a bank account difference with company currency
Process the bank reconciliation on the bank account
Print the Bank reconciliation summary report
Showing the company currency on the report instead of transaction currency

I would like to ask how to make the report shows the company currency as below:

Or if it's possible to show the right currency, how to remove the wrong currency showing here -> Go back to the standard version?

Good Morning L Dinh,

If you cannot replicate the issue in a different environment then the report design with the currency might be the result of a customization.

Note: I also double checked LCS and noticed that there is not similar issue reported.

Suggestion:

Because of that I would suggest that you get into contact with your system admins/developers and have a discussion about this report especially whether and what modifications have been made and how to fix it.

Hi,

When generating Bank reconciliation summary, we do not see the Currency on the report, you can see the below screenshot.

Please check your customization in this area.

Hello L Dinh,

Going through this thread; what I have understood is; your Company currency is CNY but currency code is displaying here as HKD. And this is surely a result of customization because if you look at any standard environment; no currency code will display in this report. You have to check with the developer who customized this to sort it out.

Have you find the input shared by Ludwig and Sheela?

Also I don't think, this is required to display the currency code in Bank reconciliation report as the value, by default, will always display in Company currency.

In case, if you really need to display the currency code, then better do the following.

--- Take a copy of this standard report and create a new report and deploy this design.

--- Add currency code in the new report.
